History

SNA_NT (“System for National Accounts-Norwegian Technology” or “System for National Accounts-New Technology”) was developed in the years 1977 to 2010 for Statistics Norway. Ms. L. H. Simpson defined the functionality; Mr H K Langva developed the software. After 2005, SNA_NT has been adapted to new versions of Windows, Excel und Oracle under support contracts to the then active Eastern European countries.

The first version of CollStat was developed in 2013. As part of the development, minor adjustments to the OpenSource components were implemented.

The first user of CollStat has been active since end-2013.
